JORDAN’S KING LIES TO THE WORLD USING THE INDEPENDET’S NAME

Cites That Press Story Happened, Yet Publishers State It Didn’t Happen

Big Sign That The Monarchy Is Doomed And Falling

(London, England) – The Jordan Opposition Coalition (JOC) announced today that they have caught King Abdullah II in another lie – this time, it’s one of the largest lies of his regime, and a clear sign that his regime is doomed and falling.

The lie is simple, in stories written about the king and run in his state run and personally owned media, the King personally made the following representations that were not true:

1.    “British newspaper, the Independent, has published a story” in which it said: “We all need a lesson in humbleness and manner to be delivered to us from the Jordanian king”.

2.    The Independent said “The ones who need this lesson the most are the presidents...”

3.    The Independent added: “A man like this one, who shovels dust on the grave on of the children of his people, and holds back the tears of sadness in his eyes to keep his people firm, those people whom he always calls as his sons, such a man, there shall never be another like him".

Mudar Zahran, Secretary General of the Jordanian Opposition Coalition (JOC):” The Jordanian media is closely controlled by the king’s press office, such shameful lies could have not been reported at the same time and in an identical text, word for word, by most Jordanian media outlets, without clear orders and the approval of the king’s office itself”. Zahran added: “The king claims to have done something and stated that it was published in the Independent, yet after confirmation, the Independent states that they never ran that story, we have received a written confirmation from the Independent and a verbal one from its foreign desk’s chief, David Wastell, that no such story or any such words were ever published by the renowned newspaper”. Zahran, stated. “This is a black eye to the Monarchy and an insult to all Jordanians.”, “And it means the king is desperate for public approval from our people; no stable regime could make such a mindless stunt in the age of the Internet and Google”.

In its official response to JOC, the Independent confirmed last time it published anything about the king was “a month ago”. Story run in the independent can be found here:

“The king’s media is claiming the story was run by the Independent after the king attended the funeral of a Jordanian soldier last week, therefore, the Jordanian media was claiming there was a recent story praising the king on the Independent’s pages, this is a lie “, “Even if the king’s media were referring to the month old story, which is obviously not the case; the stories are clearly very different,” Zahran said. “Why does the Monarchy have to lie to the world about its actions?.”

Other lies that the king has been caught in include

·         Helping ISIS (Daesh) – according to Toyota, over 4,500 trucks sold to Jordan somehow wound up in their hands, yet the king says he didn’t

·         Helping ISIS launder oil and money by acting as the middle man, a story confirmed by global media including CNN – yet the king says he didn’t

·         Creating a global warming program based on what’s agreed by the world in the Paris Global Warming Conference attended by over 200 countries, yet hasn’t

·         He claims to be living in Jordan full time, but for some reason owns homes in multiple countries, including Switzerland and California and publicly spends up to half of his time outside of the country.

·         Skimming money off the “top” of all money that comes in – he says he doesn’t, but for some reason, he provides no transparency to prove one way or another

Dear Mr Zahran

I’m afraid we don’t recognise that translation at all – we don’t believe we have published those words.

We did publish an article by King Abdullah last month, as you may know.  http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/the-burden-on-jordan-far-exceeds-that-on-the-west-we-need-help-a6849391.html. But there is nothing we can find which matches with the article you have referred. Can you tell me when we are said to have published it?

Kind regards

Dear Mr. King,

We are curious to know if the Independent website has actually published the following story, which has been circulating all through Jordanian state-controlled media.

We would appreciate a confirmation from you on whether the martial below has actually been published or not,  we were not able to find any similar material on either your printed edition or website, nonetheless, we would appreciate a confirmation from you. Please note: Non-Jordanian Arab media has picked up the same story from the Jordanians and has been spreading it around too.

Please see the exact translation below in addition to links where it has been published:

"British newspaper, the Independent, has published a story: We all need a lesson in humbleness and manner to be delivered to us from the Jordanian king. The ones who need this lesson the most are the presidents...a man like this one, who shovels dust on the grave on of the children of his people, and holds back the tears of sadness in his eyes to keep his people firm, those people whom he always calls as his sons, such a man, there shall never be another like him".
