تكتيكات حماس ... مقال بالانجليزية

As its leaders admit, Hamas has played a key part in the global war being waged on Syria for more than thirty months now. Hamas’ intervention, might perhaps have been one of the prominent fore-planned phases in the process of armament and preparations, long time before the war in Syria broke out

Hamas constantly spread revolutionary symbols which resorted to the media for the purpose of supporting and defending the so-called Syrian revolution. In this regard, Khalid Meshaal, Palestinian political leader and the leader of the Hamas political bureau, hailed the French mandate flag in Gaza during one of Hamas’ show off festivals, an act that led Moussa Abu Marzouk , the spokesman for the movement and Mohamed Morsi’ friend – it is said Marzouk is behind influencing Morsi to join the Muslim Brotherhood group while they were both living in the States, according to Tharwat Al Kharbawi, the author of The Temple’s Secret – to justify this enormously political sin by accusing Meshaal of acting recklessly and irresponsibly

What adds insult to injury – and this time, we have no slightest idea how Marzouk would react or justify this another grave political mistake made by Meshaal – is when the latter attended the fourth Conference of the Justice and Development in Ankara

The conference was attended by other high-ranking figures whose brotherhood projects take an effect in the New Middle East. One of the mistakes they made was hastening to anticipate the downfall of the Syrian regime. Among them were Erdogan, Mohamed Morsi , Ghannouchi , Mustafa Abdel Jalil, who later began to swear allegiance to the Ottoman Caliph Erdogan and associate his leadership with the ‘great’ Muslim Brotherhood crescent. Hamas’ tactics disclosed three mechanisms which are well known among observers. To begin with, Hamas’ experts have had recourse to the transfer of expertise of tunnels network to carry out military attacks against the army and the infrastructure in addition to smuggling arms, munitions and even rebels

This clearly amounts to the concealed intentions of aggression and undermines any talk about a peaceful revolution. From the onset, these facts confounded the tactics of the Syrian national army. A witness I interviewed lately recounted to me how the troops of the Syrian army cleanse and besiege the neighborhoods so that ‘the trouble makers’ would disappear into the distance, but on the following day, the army was taken aback by the increasing number of terrorists in the same neighborhood and wondered where they came from. According to my interviewee, the forces moved on to discover that Hamas’ revolutionary tactics were behind the growing terrorism

The Syrian authorities revealed that some cities are fraught with tunnels full of rebels and revolutionaries. Some of these tunnels in cities such as Qosair , Baba Amr, Harasta, Douma and Daria are well equipped with surveillance cameras and high-tech equipments. According to my interviewee, some tunnels were dug by abducted civilians, long time before and during the war. He carries on saying: “To our consternation, these civilians were killed the minute they end digging the tunnels”. Today, the Syrian army is coming to grips with Hamas-born tactic in order to overcome it, by daily discovering a large number of tunnels, and alleviating its destructive impact

This is the secret to the progress the National army has made at several fronts. Another tactic of Hamas consists in sending soldiers, mercenaries, militarily trained and qualified gangsters and those ideologically indoctrinated against the Syrian regime. While tens of them have been arrested and hundreds have been killed, the Western diplomacy and media shed crocodile tears over them by describing them as innocent people. In this vein, what has lately drawn international attention was the announcement made by a Hamas Jordanian Salafi jihadi fighters group that a thousand of Al Qaeda Jihadists are fighting alongside the arming rebels were reported to have taken part in the game

The Syrian National Army is dealing with this tactic with great military professionalism. At this point, the failure of the revolution in Syria is thought to be surpassed by the power and victories of the regime on the ground. Hamas’ latest tactics must be doomed to failure despite admitting the hardness of this mission. This tactic consists of firing primitive rockets and mortars randomly from simple launching pads. Metal cylinders were procured and manufactured locally by the rebels in simple industrial workshops which were captured by force, and sometimes with the complicity of the workshops owners, to heap on the heads of innocent Syrians, including civilians and school children. These arms, unfortunately, take time to be treated and disposed by the National army

This process goes through locating the areas, surrounding them and putting pressure on the rebels. This is what is currently going on in Mouadamiya, after the National army evacuates the buildings filled with children and civilians where armed rebels groups carry out daily military operations, targeting populous areas where Syrians live in Damascus

The National army has succeeded in reaching advanced stages of prosecution of the rebels groups. And this continues to account for the lamenting Western media that say that besieging and engulfing innocent Syrians must be ended at any cost. Put differently, those groups continue to implement the revolutionary tactics of Hamas, seek to escape an inevitable destiny by trying to get rid of the ‘fist’ of the Syrian army which will sooner or later break them
