I was reading the article written by Abdul Kareem Salim Al Shareef about Cohen in Syria (Talameez Coheen....).

It is obvious that the writer does not have the correct information. One of the major error he wrote that general Amin Hafiz is an Alwaite. This is dead wrong because the general is from a well known Sunni family from Aleppo. It was even suggested that he was selected to be president because he was a Sunni and the other memebers were Alawite (Asad, Jadid and Omran) and it was not a good idea to have an Alwaite president at that time..

After reading that major error, I stopped reading the rest of the story.
