Dear friends at Arab Times
Once again greetings from the UK hoping that you are doing very well and up to the usual potential and hardwork. I was really amazed at the way you have shown the replies to the email sent by the Saudi Arabian lady regarding the financial problem she encountered in Jordan and how it shows how much we hate each other in the (Arab) world and the extent of the cultural problem we are suffering from. Hence before going deep into details I would first like to send a message to Mr Amr Mousa, the secretary - general of the (Arab) league asking him to have enough courage to announce the death of the (Arab) league and that (Arab) unity is a dream that will never ever happen. I also call upon record makers to pull away from the markets the two famous hits (WATANI HABEEBI WATANI ELAKBAR) and the recent one (DA HELMINA TOOL OMRINA HODN YLEMMINA) because nowadays the songs of Hayfa Wehbe (BADDI EISH) and Ruby (EBQA QABELNI) are more realistic as all the people and regimes in the area so called the Arab world (BADDON Y3EESHO) and (EBQO QABLOONI) if you ever get the chance to learn and make yourselves more intellectual.
Back to the main issue, if we take into consideration the thread of responses to the Saudi student's very normal complain (normal given the first class procedural laws we have), added to them alot of the comments viewed on the website of Al-Arabiyya channel, as well as many articles by many of our so called writers like Mahmoud Awad and others, you may observe if you put on the hat of the objective observer how much Arabs hate each other as well as the protrusion of the answer to a very important question: WHY THE UNITED STATES AND ISRAEL FIND IT VERY EASY TO DEFEAT US? The answer is simply because we are ignorant enough not to realise that fanaticism, racism, tribalism and hatred only destroy and will never build as well as laying all our mistakes on Israel and the west therefore evading and avoiding the real truth about ourselves as people not assuming responsibility.
I have decided to be very patient before writing this discourse to your highly respected online newspaper as the outcome was just as I expected: offences, swearing, hatred, tribalism and fanaticism. And we ask ourselves why are we always defeated. In order for a so called nation to promote itself from retardation to development, individuals need to look for commonalities rather than differences, need to look for integration rather than disintegration, need to be frankly open with ourselves before anybody else. However, I think that we still need 1000 more years before we realise this. 1000 more years for the Palestinian to stop swearing at the Jordanian and vice versa, for the Iraqis swearing at the Jordanians and Syrians and vice versa, for the Syrians to stop swearing at the Lebanese and vice versa, and for people of the Gulf to stop thinking of others as inferiors and others thinking of them as ignorants with a wealth of oil; the curse that god has sent to us so that we end up being the most corrupt and ignorant people on earth. So ignorant that we turn very little everyday problems into a national crisis that will affect the mothers, sisters and wives of all Arabs; and still we ask why are we always defeated. Writers all around the world focus on the national and issues sensitive to the nation and try to propose solutions that may aid policy makers in their mission. A writer belongs to the elite of the society as he/she are supposed to carry the burden of the nation. Our nowadays writers, on the other hand, focus on so many issues that are so relevant like Maysoun's pregnancy (I agree it is ridiculous but certainly does not deserve an article to be written on), Khadija Bin Guenna's menstruation (again questionable) and not to mention the crave to lick Nancy Agram's legs (and I wonder what sort of PhD that individual has). Also, we get these articles written by the religious (no specific religion here) fanatics so as to further stir the hatred and not to mention the so called nationalists that cannot see further than their noses. These are the elite of the Arabs and we still ask ourselves, why are we always defeated.
Now, let us address our media. We are supposed to have so many TV channels only interested in ESTAQBALA SOMMOWO WA JALALTO WA FAKHAMTO WA EKHWANO WA AWLADO WA GHILMANO WA KHISYANO WA JAHSHATO and these need not be discussed here as they have been previously tackled, so many so called "HISHEK BISHEK" channels like ROTANA, and so many so called religious channels with hypocrites like QARADAWI and AMRO KHALED and all that bunch of fanatic liers that still argue whether we are or are not allowed to shave the hairs on our armpits or allow our wives to suck our dicks.These have all been discussed before but I want to focus here on two specific channels of our so called media.
The first one which is supposed to be a news oriented channel but lately was concerned with the pregnancy of Maysoun Azzam. An indication of how much ridiculous have we ended up being! I just wonder how many women in the region are pregnant and do even harder jobs than Maysoun. The second one (I admit I used to highly love and respect) ended up playing the role of ROTANA but not really in the same sense of ROTANA, but in the fact that it kept showing the latest videoclips of AYMAN AL ZAWABRI (the equivalent of Hayfa Wehbe) and OSAMA BIN NADEL (the equivalent of Elissa). The latest videoclip shown a couple of days ago on ROTANA ALJAZEERA has been really a smashing hit; a smashing hit to the safety and security of all innocent Arab youth who came to the UK to seek a better future and stability. The bastard (LA TAJOUZ 3ALA AL MOJREM AYYAT RAHMA) made it clear that the innocent people are targets, and I wonder why don't they have enough courage to go and attack the big heads. Why, because all these people think that the situation in Europe is similar to Pakistan where people takeover authority by the force of the army. So stupid of him to think that the people of Britain have elected Tony Blair because they want him to be involved in Iraq. I have to say something here, I disagree with Blair on the Iraq and external policy issue but domestically speaking, the man is a genius. He promoted all the universities so that they became some of the leading in the world. He increased the national minimum wage and fixed it to £5/hr in order to help the least fortunate slice of the community after it had been floating during the time of the conservatives. Health and public services have greatly improved and most importantly the reduction of unemployment. If I were British these are the reasons why I would elect him despite my disrespect for him as far as Iraq is concerned. That criminal and his alikes of fake muslims that sell the meat of dead animals as HALAL meat, and refuse to make any contributions to the society that accepted them and given them a first class status should not have been brought to this country in the first place but rather should have stayed in their original trash with people like MUSHARRAF and Mulla Omar ruling them and giving them the demcracy they deserve. If you decide to live in another country you should expect yourself to obey its laws. So this is our great media and still we ask ourselves why are we always defeated.
I am really shocked and I am thousands of miles away from the Arab world. Time passes and hatred grows. Time passes and divisions increase. Time passes and no development seen. Time passes and Zimbabwe became more democratic than so many democracies we claim to have. Time passes and retardation increases; and we still ask ourselves why are we defeated?!
I guess now it is time to say goodbye. Say goodbye to the dream of WATANI HABEEBI ELWATAN ELAKBAR. Say farewell to the dream of HODN YDOMMINA KOLLINA and say HELLO to the reality of BADDI EISH.
